The mission of the Wilmington University Safety Department is to enhance the safety and security of our five University-owned campuses. Every day, we work to earn the trust, confidence, and respect of our University community, by fostering a secure environment through education, collaboration, and enforcement. Because safety is a shared responsibility.

To provide the highest level of protection, the University employs Constables, licensed by the State of Delaware. Our campuses are further secured by Safety Cadets, 24/7 surveillance cameras, and card reader access systems, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Campus safety is a shared responsibility, and we encourage you to report any issues that may impact a secure and supportive learning environment.
