Fall and “Fun” begins at Wilmington University! The Alumni Association Chapter Chairs and their committees have been working diligently to create opportunities for WilmU Alumni from all sites to share in events, networking, and participation at monthly meetings.
Harrah's Casino Alumni Networking Happy Hour
Everyone was a winner during the New Jersey and Pennsylvania chapter event at Harrah’s Casino! Barley Que Restaurant was the perfect backdrop as over 50 alumni from the region mingled throughout the evening.
Fordham & Old Dominion Brewery Taste and Tour
Kent & Sussex Alumni showed their Wildcat Pride at the Fordham-Old Dominion Brewery on October 12th. Over 70 people enjoyed the first annual “Taste and Tour October-Fest Celebration”. Guests received a private tour of the brewery which has been in Dover since 2007.
Green and White Scholarship Ball
Those who attended the Fourth Annual Green and White Scholarship Ball had a chance to find out what attending one of Delaware’s “must do events” is really like! This year guests were greeted with flutes of champagne as they meandered through three floors and nine themed rooms filled with amazing food and tantalizing entertainment.
New York City Holiday Bus Trip
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year”…. And the WilmU Alumni Relations Department has planned the perfect trip to get you into the holiday spirit. Spend an entire day in New York City visiting city attractions, enjoying holiday decorations, shopping and possibly
even catching a broadway show.
Wildcats at Home in Their New Den

The 60,000-square-foot gym building has athletic training facilities, four locker rooms, offices for athletic staff members and a lounge that could be used by the public or teams. The gym seats 600, which is plenty for Wilmington. “For non-football schools, at this level, when you look at facilities, we’ve got to be one of the best around,” said Nick Papanicolas, Wilmington’s men’s soccer coach.
