Federal Student Aid
Many of our students use Federal Student Aid (FSA) programs—the most common form of financial aid—for tuition assistance. FSA programs are offered by the federal government to provide financial aid options that can help make your WilmU education even more affordable.
There are three forms of FSA

Grants
Financial aid that doesn’t have to be repaid.
Loans
Borrowed money; must be repaid (usually with interest).
Work-Study
Money earned through part-time employment.
How to Apply for Federal Student Aid
1. Create your FSA ID
An FSA ID is a username and password that enables access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and serves as a legal signature.
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA form collects your current financial information so federal financial aid eligibility and an award amount can be determined by the federal government.
3. Use WilmU’s school code: 007948
Once we receive your FAFSA, we will email you to confirm receipt and provide your next necessary steps.
