Wilmington University's Holistic Palliative and End-of-Life Care certificate program prepares health care and human service workers with the skills to provide support at this sensitive stage of life.
Our undergraduate certificate program, which aligns with the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium's training programs, offers an in-depth survey of death and dying from the point of view of providers and patients. Coursework includes studies on the process of mortality, how families respond to crisis, health care psychology and policy, and social issues surrounding the subject.
The Holistic Palliative and End-of-Life Care certificate program is designed for nurses, health care administrators, social workers, therapists, clergy and community volunteers who are vested in end of life and palliative care issues and are interested in advancing their knowledge in this specialty. The courses are available 100% online, allowing the students to complete the coursework and earn their certificate on their own schedules.
