What is Dual Credit Advantage?

Dual-Credit advantage programs are accelerated academic pathways that let students apply Dual-Credits to more than one degree or certificate—allowing students to earn more credentials faster and with significant savings.

Interdisciplinary Pathway

This interdisciplinary pathway offers students two – four graduate classes from the College of Technology that replace between two - four undergraduate, upper-level electives.

The electives offered in this program are as follows:

COM 6100 Emerging Tech and Comm

COM 6250 Digital Content and Visual Data

COM 6600 Crisis Communication and Risk

MCM 6101 Communicating Writing

Program Entry

To enter this program, students have to meet the following criteria:

• The student has to have completed 75 credits.
• The student has to have to have a 3.0.
• The student has to have met with the MS in Digital Communications chair for approval.
• After finishing the undergraduate program, the student will still adhere to these program-specific graduate admissions procedures including applying to the MS in Digital Communications program.
