Biography

Rob joins Wilmington University as an Assistant Professor from industry in 2023.  He has previously taught at the University as an adjunct assistant professor, teaching courses in Information Security, Business IT, and Programming languages for over eight years.

Prior to joining Wilmington University full time, Rob served as the Manager of IT Audit and Data for Christiana Care in Delaware – a $2 Billion system providing advanced health care in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. In that capacity, Rob audited systems throughout the organization to verify their accuracy and security and identify areas needing improvement.

Rob has also served in the Information Technology, Radiation Oncology, and Anatomic Pathology departments in hospitals in Delaware and New York.

Rob Has an MBA from Wilmington University and a B.S. from Stony Brook University in New York. He has held certifications including Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control. He has presented at national conferences of the Association of Healthcare internal Auditors and has lectured at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill on Network and Computer Security.

Originally from New York, Rob lives in Newark, Delaware with 4 cats, 2 dogs, a Russian Tortoise, and his family.
