Biography
Dr. Melody Randle is the NP Program Chair within the College of Health Professions at Wilmington University. She teaches the primary care course, advance health assessment and other core classes within the NP program. Dr. Randle earned a BS in Nursing (Rutgers University), MS in Nursing as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (Widener University), Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner (Widener University), and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (University of Medicine & Dentistry).
Dr. Randle is nationally board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP) and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). Her research interests include: advanced practice nursing and student clinical nursing experiences. Dr. Randle maintains an active clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a primary care practice in New Jersey. Dr. Randle is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF), and Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Randle has a passion for serving in underserved communities, and often volunteers her time doing so. In addition, Dr Randle mentors youth with interest in nursing/ health care.
