Genetics (with Lab)
4 credits
Students will evaluate gene structure and function, including analyzing molecular mechanisms of heredity, interpreting Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, and applying biotechnology techniques. Topics include examining gene mutations and their implications. Laboratory activities will involve conducting genetic crosses, utilizing PCR and electrophoresis, and interpreting genetic data.
