Master of Science in Nursing

Admission

Please refer to The Graduate Admissions Process section for general graduate admission information. For consideration and admission to the Master of Science in Nursing program:

1. Download the Application Materials
   
   The packet includes:
   • A Letter From the Dean
   • Instructions for Completing the MSN Application
   • Statement of Goals
   • An Application for Graduate Admission
   • Two Recommendation Forms
2. Submit all completed documents, including a copy of a current resume with a $35.00 non-refundable application fee to Wilmington University, Office of Graduate Admissions.
3. Submit a copy of your current Registered Nurse License.
4. Submit all official transcripts, indicating the college and/or university seal, in a sealed envelope verifying the following:
   • Graduation from a nationally accredited baccalaureate program in nursing.
   • Completion of an undergraduate statistics course, at the junior level, with a grade of “C” or higher.
   • Completion of an undergraduate health assessment course, with a grade of “C” or better, or an equivalent continuing education course.
5. After Wilmington University's Office of Graduate Admissions has received all admission materials, applicants must complete an interview with the Program Coordinator. This interview must be completed prior to initial enrollment.
6. Complete a writing assessment at the time of the interview.
7. All graduate candidacy and admission requirements must be met by the completion of the fourth course.
