Two Wilmington University Rehoboth Beach students received awards at the 19th Annual Statewide Senior Art Exhibit held in the Carter Partnership Building at Delaware Technical and Community College's Owens Campus. The art show began on April 24th and will run through June 4th. Congratulations to Rob Tate and Cecelia Ludwig for receiving these awards.
Ron Tate placed 2nd for his painting entitled ‘Interchange’ in the Oils category. Cecelia Ludwig placed 2nd for her painting entitled ‘Young Whale Watcher’ in the Acrylics category. Tate will have two paintings on display in Milton Theater’s production of ‘Mixed Emotions’; May 15 is opening night. Both Tate and Ludwig are currently showing their work and studying under Linda Minkowski at the Wilmington University's Rehoboth Beach Site, located on Rehoboth Avenue.
Wilmington University's Rehoboth Beach site offers both credit and non-credit courses. Seniors receive a 25% discount on all courses. Classes begin May 30 and include: Beginning Drawing, One Stroke Painting, Watercolor Studio, Mixed Medium Studio and Painting on Glass.
