Wilmington University is pleased to announce that volleyball standout Meghan Frick (James W. Robinson HS/Fairfax, VA) has been named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District women's volleyball third team. The teams were voted on by the district’s members of Co-SIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).

A junior outside hitter, Frick has led the Wildcats both on the court and in the classroom. An Early Childhood Education major, she currently has a 3.70 grade point average and has made the dean’s list in each of her four semesters at Wilmington. Meghan leads the Wildcats in kills (2.44/set), and is second on the squad in digs (3.69/set) and aces (42). She earned Academic All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honors last season.

She becomes the first Wildcat volleyball member in school history to have earned Academic All-District honors, since Wilmington made the move to NCAA Division II in 2004. Frick was one of just two members of the CACC to be named to the All-District team.
