Men's Soccer Continues To Be Ranked Regionally and Nationally

The Wilmington University men’s soccer continues to be listed in the National Rankings, coming in at number 13 this week, according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas poll. The Wildcats are also ranked second in the East Region. The regional rankings are voted upon by the coaches in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast-10 Conference.

Wilmington is coming off a 2-0 victory over Goldey-Beacom in the First Round of the CACC Tournament. With the win, the Wildcats extended their winning streak to 15 straight games.

The NCAA also released its rankings today, and the ‘Cats are also second in the East Region. The top six teams in the East Region qualify for the NCAA regional tournament.

The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday afternoon, when they take on the fifth seeded Deacons of Bloomfield College at 11:00AM in the semifinals of the CACC Tournament hosted by Wilmington University.
