Men's Soccer Moves Up to #12 in Division II

The Wilmington University men’s soccer team has moved up in the National Rankings, coming in at number 12 this week, according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. The Wildcats are also ranked second in the East Region. The regional rankings are voted upon by the coaches in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC), the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast-10 Conference.

Wilmington is coming off a 3-0week last week, in which they knocked off Lock Haven University 2-0, defeated #18 Dominincan College 2-0, and edged Felician College, 2-1.  The Wildcats have won 13 sraight, and clinched the regular season CACC title. 

The NCAA also released its rankings today, and the ‘Cats are third in the East Region. The top six teams in the East Region qualify for the NCAA regional tournament.

The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday afternoon, when they host the Eagles of Post University in their regular season finale at 3:30 PM.
