Hoop Fest To Take Place On October 16th
Monday, October 12, 2009 - New Castle, DE
Wilmington University is excited to announce that the 12th Annual Wildcat Hoop Fest (formerly known as Midnight Madness) will kick off on Friday night, October 16, 2009, in the Pratt Gymnasium. The event will begin with an introduction of the 2009-20010 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams. Also included in the festivities are a 3-Point Contest, 2-Ball Contest, drills, and a special performance by the Wildcat Cheerleaders and ‘Catz Dance Team.
The doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the event begins at 7:30 pm, with free admission for all fans. There will be free t-shirts to the first 50 fans, and various giveaways and fan contests during the evening. Students will have a chance to win a 32” flat screen television during contests throughout the night. Free pizza will be given out at the end of the event.
